Former Jets receiver charged in COVID-19 relief fraud scheme
Former Jets wide receiver Josh Bellamy has been charged for his alleged participation in a $24 million COVID-19-relief fraud scheme- according to the Department of Justice.
Bellamy has been charged with wire fraud, bank fraud, and conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud. He signed a 2 year deal with the Jets in 2019 but they released the receiver on Tuesday.
