J.J. Watt joins Arizona Cardinals with two-year deal
J.J. Watt posted a photo to social media on Monday showing him working out in an Arizona Cardinals shirt. He captioned the picture, "source: me" to announce his new team.
Pittsburgh, Green Bay, and Cleveland...everyone thought J.J. Watt would go to one of those teams but on Monday the defensive end broke the news on Twitter that he is signing with the Arizona Cardinals. The former free-agent pass-rusher has agreed to a two-year deal worth $31M with $23M guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Watt was released by the Texans in February ending his 10-year run with the franchise. Sports Illustrated's Kaitlin O'Toole is joined by Robin Lundberg for insight on the impact Watt will have in Arizona.
