Minnesota Vikings vs. Cincinnati Bengals Player Prop Bets for Today's Game

This matchup features two teams that are without the QB they started the season with, so predicting a winner isn’t always the best approach. That’s why we’ve preferred to target Vikings vs. Bengals prop bets.

Our first target is, unsurprisingly, Minnesota superstar WR Justin Jefferson. His greatness was absent for seven games before returning last weekend. Unfortunately, he exited early once again; however, he has confirmed that he is all set to go against Cinci. It will be a reunion with Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase, and we expect him to show out.

Admittedly, the Bengals have looked strong as of late, but they’ve needed to do so by lighting up the scoreboard, as their defense is still lacking. Specifically, their passing defense has struggled - they’re allowing the sixth-most yards through the air this season. With Minnesota recently having named Nick Mullens as the new starting QB, he is going to need a security blanket.

That’s where we expect Jefferson to come in. Of course, we can’t list off a bunch of huge numbers for you in terms of his recent games, but even the most casual fans know what he is capable of. That’s why, even with him returning from injury, we’re still making the first of our Vikings vs. Bengals player props on Justin Jefferson over 76.5 receiving yards (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook).

We also have a player on the Cincinnati side of things that we’re eyeing. That would be RB Joe Mixon, and we’re actually targeting an under. The Bengals have recently had RB Chase Brown emerge over the past two weeks to assist backup QB Jake Browning. That means less carries for Mixon.

Not only are his touches getting stolen, but the Vikings have been solid against the run. In fact, they’ve been more than solid - they’re allowing the fifth-fewest yards on the ground this season. They just faced last season’s rushing champion, Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders, and held him to just 34 yards on 13 carries.

That’s less than three yards per carry, and even if they aren’t quite that dominant, we still expect Joe Mixon under 57.5 rushing yards (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook) to hit.

Spread Picks for Vikings vs. Bengals Featuring Cinci -3

If Vikings vs. Bengals prop bets aren’t your thing, you can stick to the standard markets with our Vikings vs. Bengals spread pick. As much as both teams need the win for their postseason hopes, we have to back Cinci based on what we’ve seen recently.

As mentioned, both teams are without their starting QB, but the Bengals look to be in a much better start in that regard. Minnesota is giving Mullens his first-ever start with the team, while Browning has already pulled off feats that no other Cinci QB has ever done, including Joe Burrow.

He also has the Bengals on a three-game winning streak, and each of those wins have come against teams currently in playoff position. If you don’t want to bet against the Vikes, we’d also suggest taking the over given Cincinnati’s offense and subpar defense. However, when it comes to the Vikings vs. Bengals spread, we’d have to go with Cincinnati -3 (-115 at BetMGM Sportsbook).
