Minnesota Vikings 2023 NFL Draft Day 2 Live Blog: Updates, Pick Tracker, Analysis
The 2023 NFL Draft in Kansas City is back for Day 2, which comprises the second and third rounds. After 31 picks were made in first round on Thursday night, there will be 71 total selections on Friday night. But don't worry, teams have seven minutes to pick in round two and five minutes in round three, down from ten minutes in the first round.
The Vikings stayed put at 23 last night, selecting USC wide receiver Jordan Addison to pair with Justin Jefferson in Kevin O'Connell's offense. Because they traded their second-rounder to the Lions in the T.J. Hockenson deal, they're only scheduled to have one pick tonight — No. 87 overall in the third round.
But that doesn't mean they'll stay put at 87 and make that pick. GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah could get an urge to move up from 87, perhaps dipping into next year's draft capital to do so. Or he could trade back from 87 and add some quantity to the Vikings' arsenal.
As always, the draft can be watched on ESPN, ABC, and NFL Network. Follow along below for Vikings-centric updates and analysis throughout the evening.
