Tracking the Minnesota Vikings' Practice Squad Signings
After setting their initial 53-man roster on Tuesday, the Vikings have already made some moves on Wednesday, adding veterans Myles Gaskin and David Quessenberry and waiving Jalen Reagor. More movement is coming.
For now, with waivers having processed, the Vikings' front office is working on putting together its 16-man practice squad. Only one player the Vikings waived on Tuesday, tight end Ben Sims, was claimed by another team (the Packers).
The practice squad will mostly consist of players who have been with the Vikings in training camp, but there will also likely be some external signings mixed in.
Follow along below for updates as the reports trickle in on players Kwesi Adofo-Mensah and company have signed to their PS.

Reported Vikings PS signings
Recent updates on top.
OL Hakeem Adeniji (formerly with Bengals)
Per Ian Rapaport. Adeniji, 25, was a sixth-round pick out of Kansas in 2020. Including two playoff runs, he played in 46 games with 22 starts for the Bengals over the past three years. During that time, he's played left tackle, right tackle, and right guard (albeit with poor PFF grades at all three). Adeniji started Super Bowl LVI at RG.
G Henry Byrd (formerly with Broncos)
Per Mike Klis. Byrd was signed by Denver as an undrafted rookie out of Princeton (Adofo-Mensah's alma mater) this year.
G Tyrese Robinson (formerly with Eagles)
Per Aaron Wilson. Robinson went undrafted out of Oklahoma in 2022 and spent last year on the Eagles' practice squad. He was waived by Philadelphia this week. At OU, he started 38 games, playing both tackle and guard.
WR Thayer Thomas
Per NFL Draft Diamonds. Thomas impressed during camp with his sharp route-running. His change-of-direction ability is legit. The UDFA out of North Carolina State had five catches for 41 yards in the preseason but also muffed two punts.
CB Jaylin Williams
Per NFL Draft Diamonds. Williams, an undrafted rookie out of Indiana, is a slot corner who spent some time with the Vikings' second-team defense during camp. He had a nice interception against Malik Willis in the second preseason game.
