Vikings Inactives vs. Eagles: Christian Darrisaw, Marcus Davenport Active

Darrisaw and Davenport are both active for the Vikings for Thursday night's game.

Vikings OLB Marcus Davenport and LT Christian Darrisaw are officially active for Thursday night's game against the Eagles. Both players, who were listed as questionable with ankle injuries, went through pregame workouts at Lincoln Financial Field and were deemed healthy enough to play.

Darrisaw seems likely to handle his usual every-down role at left tackle. He hurt his ankle in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers but was able to return and play the entire second half.

Update: Darrisaw isn't playing after all. He was apparently a game-time decision. Oli Udoh will be the Vikings' left tackle tonight.

Davenport will be making his Vikings debut in Philadelphia tonight. He missed the opener with an ankle injury that he picked up in practice last week. It remains to be seen how many snaps he'll play against the Eagles — one imagines D.J. Wonnum and Pat Jones II will also have significant roles in the Vikings' rotation at outside linebacker.

Here are the Vikings' inactives:

  • TE Nick Muse
  • OLB Andre Carter II
  • C Garrett Bradbury
  • DL Jaquelin Roy

QB Jaren Hall is inactive but is dressed and would be eligible to enter the game under the NFL's new third-QB rule if both Kirk Cousins and Nick Mullens were to get hurt. Austin Schlottmann will start at center with Bradbury out due to a lower-back injury.

For the Eagles, veteran defensive tackle Fletcher Cox will play. He was listed as questionable on the final injury report. CB James Bradberry, S Reed Blankenship, and RB Kenneth Gainwell were ruled out on Wednesday.
