Vikings vs. Titans Live Score Updates: NFL Preseason Week 2

Follow along as the Vikings and Titans battle at U.S. Bank Stadium in the preseason.
In this story:

For the first time in eight months, it's time for football at U.S. Bank Stadium. This one is a little less significant than January's wild card playoff game, but the Vikings' Week 2 preseason game against the Titans carries quite a bit of importance for all the players who will take the field looking to earn a roster spot. After two days of joint practices this week, it's time for these teams to battle in an actual game environment.

This is a big opportunity for players on the Vikings' roster bubble to make a positive impression ten days ahead of cutdown day. It's also a chance for guys even deeper down the roster to improve their chances at earning a practice squad spot, whether it's with the Vikings or somewhere else. This tape matters.

Here are seven notable players with a lot to prove on Saturday night.

Jordan Addison, Mekhi Blackmon, Brian Asamoah, and Jaquelin Roy are a few key young players who won't play in this game due to injury. Akayleb Evans is in pads, but it's unclear if he'll play after getting banged up in Thursday's practice. Obviously, don't expect to see any of the Vikings' stars. The only projected starters on offense or defense who played in last week's loss in Seattle were Addison, Evans, Blackmon, Asamoah (Ivan Pace Jr. might be passing him for that spot), Ed Ingram, Camryn Bynum, Khyiris Tonga, and Josh Metellus.

Here's how to watch, listen to, or stream the game.
