Watch: Jordan Addison Scores Incredible 2nd TD Against 49ers Before Halftime

Addison wrestled the ball away from Charvarius Ward and sprinted to the end zone.
In this story:

With 16 seconds left in the first half of Monday's game against the 49ers, it looked the Vikings' chance to score before halftime was going to go to waste. They hadn't done much on the first few plays of the drive, dumping off a few short passes that cost them time on the clock.

Then Jordan Addison struck again.

On third down, Kirk Cousins rifled a pass downfield. It was a little bit behind Addison. It looked as though 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward — who out-muscled Addison for an interception on the third play of the game — was going to have his second pick of the day. Instead, Addison got him back. The breakout rookie ripped the ball away from Ward and streaked for a 60-yard touchdown to extend the Vikings' lead.

As the Vikings' official Twitter account put it, the play had Minneapolis Miracle vibes. How the heck did that happen?

Greg Joseph's extra point meant the Vikings went into the half leading 16-7, so they still have plenty of work to do against the 49ers.

This was Addison's second touchdown of the half. He had one in the first quarter — a 20-yarder where he beat a linebacker to the end zone. His score late in the second quarter was even more exciting.

As of halftime, Addison has six touchdowns in seven career games. No other rookie in the NFL has more than three. The kid looks pretty special.
