It's one thing when a player gets traded and fans don't know what to do with their old jerseys. It's a completely different ballgame when a team is planning a bobblehead night for one of its marquee players and then decides to trade said player before the night actually happens. What do you do with those 7,500 bobbleheads?

The Panthers figured they'd just give 'em out anyway! On Sunday, Florida's fans were lucky enough to receive bobbleheads of their former goalie Tim Thomas ... who last Wednesday was dealt to the Dallas Stars.

In an attempt to make the situation slightly less awkward, the Panthers also gave away posters of current goalie Roberto Luongo, who was acquired from Vancouver at Wednesday's trade deadline. (It remains to be seen if Roberto will have to wait until he is no longer a Panther before he gets his own bobblehead promotion.)

And don't think the Stars didn't have their fun with this -- they caught wind of it and trolled away.
