Report: Bruins' Torey Krug receives 'sizable' offer from KHL team
Boston Bruins restricted free agent Torey Krug has a "sizable" offer from a team in Russia's KHL, according to a report from CSN New England's Joe Haggerty.
Krug, 23, had 14 goals and 26 assists last season en route to being named to the All-Rookie First Team and finishing fourth in Calder Trophy voting. Krug made $1.7 million last season.

With the Bruins having limited cap space, Haggerty says it is unlikely Krug will receive the long-term contract he is looking for despite his strong play last season for Boston.
Given the current situation and Boston’s dire salary cap situation, Krug is probably looking at something more along the lines of a one or two year deal with an average annual value in the $1.5-2.5 million range.
Boston finished last season in first place in the Eastern Conference at 54-19-9 before losing to the Montreal Canadiens in the second round of the playoffs.
