Steven Stamkos' slap shot is widely regarded among the game's best, but it's quickly becoming a thing of legend.

For instance, the Lightning center showed us that he can rifle the puck 91 yards through the uprights, and in another ad for Bauer's new MX3 stick, he's at it again. This time around, he's leaving a new kind of carnage in the crease, unloading at a number of household items that include a piñata, dinner plates, watermelons, a tube TV, a cake and a fish tank.

Lightning center Steven Stamkos says leg is feeling much better

Stamkos, a former 60-goal scorer who missed the majority of last season with a broken leg, ranks 10th all-time with a career average of .568 goals per game, and with the stunning accuracy and resulting mess, it's not hard to see why. If NHL goalies are no match for his slapper, what chance does a gum ball machine have? Not much, but don't be surprised if you see a watermelon get a professional tryout with the Winnipeg Jets soon.
