Detroit Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk injured his shoulder in Monday's preseason game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Datsyuk went to the dressing room in the third period after taking a hit from Penguins defenseman Rob Scuderi. A team spokesman said Datsyuk will be re-evaluated Tuesday, according to MLive.com.

The 36-year-old had one of Detroit's two goals in its 2-1 win and assisted on the other, scored by left winger Tomas Tatar.
Datsyuk is coming off a season in which he was limited to just 45 games due to injures, the lowest total of his career. He scored 17 goals and had 37 total points in 2013-14.
The Red Wings play the Chicago Blackhawks in their second preseason game on Tuesday.
