Blue Jackets' Brandon Dubinsky (abdominal surgery) out six weeks
Blue Jackets center Brandon Dubinsky will miss six weeks after undergoing abdominal surgery, the team announced Wednesday.
Dubinsky joins five other Columbus players on injured reserve: Brian Gibbons, Nathan Horton, Boone Jenner, Sonny Milano and Ryan Murray. Four of the six are centers.

Ryan Johansen, the team's top center, may not play in Thursday's opener after missing all of training camp during a contract dispute. Johansen practiced for the first time Wednesday.
Dubinsky scored 16 goals last season, the second-most of his career. He was traded to Columbus prior to the 2012-13 season in the deal which sent Rick Nash to the Rangers.
