Jets' Evander Kane (lower body) out at least two weeks
Jets left winger Evander Kane will be out at least two weeks with a lower body injury, Winnipeg head coach Paul Maurice said Sunday.
Kane will be re-evaluated in two weeks, Maurice said, and will monitored on a week-to-week basis after that.
Maurice said he was initially fearful the injury was more serious. "To be quite honest with you, it's actually better news than I was expecting," he said.

Kane was injured during the first period of Winnipeg's season opener against the Coyotes. He played only 1:24 before he collided with a teammate and was forced from the game.
