The BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida, looked a bit bare as the Florida Panthers took on the Ottawa Senators for the team’s second home game of the season. The game's attendance was officially listed at 7,311, well short of the team's previous all-time low and comes just days after setting a franchise record for lowest attendance at a home opener.

According to ESPN.com, Florida’s attendance is the lowest in the league, pulling in just under 11,500 fans per game in an arena that holds 19,250 for hockey, which is even worse than last year’s average of about 14,200 a night. The Panthers’ totals have bounced around in the past few years, usually hovering around the 15,000 or 16,000 mark,. Though it’s a small sample size, the franchise has never seen an average attendance this low.
