Hab-by Halloween: P.K. Subban dazzles as zombie Michael Jackson

The Canadiens held their annual spooktacular shindig on Wednesday night in Montreal, and fun-loving blue liner P.K. Subban was transformed by into the zombified Michael Jackson from the "Thriller" music video.

Maybe playing a kid's game for a living keeps NHLers young. Maybe they look at the holiday as the perfect early-season bonding experience. Or maybe they just want one chance to break their strictly controlled diets and enjoy a mini Snickers bar like the rest of us.

Whatever the reason, hockey stars really get into Halloween with its parties, candy, a couple of pops and elaborate costumes designed to elicit the biggest laughs out of their teammates.

Of course, some players take that last part more seriously than others.

The Canadiens held their annual spooktacular shindig on Wednesday night at Flyfin in the Old Port area of Montreal, and while there were some great costumes, none matched the effort and achievement of P.K. Subban. The fun-loving blue liner was transformed by local makeup artist Liza-Marie Charron into the zombified Michael Jackson from the "Thriller" music video. (That's David Desharnais as the Joker and Brendan Gallagher as a Ninja Turtle in the photos above.)

Epic.
