Lightning goalie Ben Bishop left Monday's game against the Penguins after the first intermission and was ruled out for the rest of the game. Bishop has a lower body injury, the team announced

Bishop was replaced by 14-year veteran Evgeni Nabokov.

Bishop allowed one goal on five shots before he was pulled.

Sidney Crosby expected back soon after mumps diagnosis

Last season, Bishop was a finalist for the Vezina Trophy, awarded annually to the league's top goalie. He is 10th in the league in goals-against average this season.

Bishop is tied for the fourth-most games played by a goaltender this season. Nabokov's appearance Monday was only his eighth of the season.
