New Jersey Devils goalie Cory Schneider left Friday’s game in Anaheim after sustaining an apparent shoulder injury in the first period.
According to Rich Chere of the The Star-Ledger, Schneider was injured on a shot from Ducks forward Matt Beleskey in the first period, just :38 before allowing Corey Perry's 19th goal of the season. Schneider finished the period, but was replaced by Keith Kincaid at the start of the second. The Devils' backup is battling some pains of his own, however.
Schneider goes out with an injury (shoulder or collarbone). Kinkaid was shaken up in practice yesterday, hit in right knee by Tootoo shot.

In 39 games this year, Schneider has won 15 with a .919 save percentage. He’s allowed 2.42 goals per game, up from 1.97 last year. The Devils currently sit in sixth place in the Metropolitan Division with 40 points, 16 out of a playoff spot.
