The New York Islanders brought back their Fisherman jerseys for pregame as they skated against the Panthers.
The jerseys featured the team’s logo it used from 1995-97. However, the new jerseys were the NHL’s standard practice sweater, not the one that featured a teal wave with a white and orange outline.
The jerseys were often mocked in the ‘90s as it looked nearly exactly like the Gorton’s Fisherman logo.
