This 1937-38 Chicago Blackhawks jersey is definitely worth more than the Evander Kane shirt that was thrown on the ice in Winnipeg last Friday night.

Imagine finding out that your grandfather's dusty old hockey sweater could be worth anywhere from $7,000 to $10,000, as Tracy did when she got her husband's family heirloom appraised on AntiquesRoadshow in Austin.

According to Tracy, her husband's grandfather, Virgil Johnson, wore this jersey in 25 regular season and 10 playoff games during the '37-'38 season when Chicago won its second Stanley Cup Championship.

Johnson, a defenseman, was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 1974 after a career that saw him score a goal and twelve points in 75 NHL games.

PBS, which airs Roadshow, used the jersey to delve further into the history of the Blackhawks moniker
