Callahan, Tampa Bay's fifth-leading scorer, is second among Lightning forwards in average ice time per game. He plays on a line with Steven Stamkos and Alex Killorn

The Lightning are currently playing the Montreal Canadiens in the Eastern Conference semifinals and lead the series 3–2. Game 6 is Tuesday night in Tampa. The Lightning took a 3–0 lead but the Habs have won the last two games.

Callahan has three assists and a team-high plus-7 rating in the playoffs. His absence likely means rookie Jonathan Drouin, who was a healthy scratch in Game 5, will be back in the lineup.
