Tampa Bay's Alex Killorn scored the first goal of the Stanley Cup finals Wednesday night roughly four-and-a-half minutes into the first period on a ridiculous backhanded redirection of the puck.
The goal, Killorn's eighth of the postseason, came off of a pass from Anton Stralman and gave the Lightning an early 1–0 lead over the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 1 of the series at Amalie Arena.
Tampa Bay is looking to continue its playoff momentum from its seven-game Eastern Conference finals victory over the New York Rangers.
