The Boston Bruins unveiled their 2016 Winter Classic uniforms on Saturday.
The Boston Bruins unveiled their 2016 Winter Classic jerseys Saturday at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston.
The Bruins will play the Montreal Canadiens on New Year’s Day at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass.
According to the team, the uniforms are inspired by the jerseys the Bruins wore during their first season in 1924, but reflect the team’s current black and gold colors.
The Canadiens have not yet revealed their Winter Classic uniforms.

The Bruins also played in the 2010 Winter Classic, when they faced the Philadelphia Flyers at Fenway Park.
