Patrick Kane scored his 30th goal of the season, which tied his career season-high.
Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane scored his 30th goal of the season, tying his career season-high, during Tuesday’s game against the Nashville Predators.
In the second period, Kane received a breakaway pass, placing a backhanded shot past Predators goalie Pekka Rinne to give the Blackhawks a 3–1 lead. Chicago would go on to beat Nashville 4–1 for its 12th straight win, a new franchise record.
Kane scored 30 goals in 82 games during the 2009–10 season, which was his third in the NHL.
The forward now has tallied a point in 12 of his last 14 games. He currently leads the league in goals (30) and points (71).
