Jaromir Jagr passes Brett Hull for third on all-time goals list
Standing ovations, a multi-goal game and rubber rats can only mean one thing: Jaromir Jagr was having a milestone-setting night.
In the Florida Panthers’ game against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday, Jagr scored career goals 741 and 742, tying and then passing Hall of Famer Brett Hull for third place on the all-time goals list.
The 44-year-old right winger tipped in his first goal of the night five minutes into the second period with a setup by Dmitry Kulikov.
Number 742 came halfway through the third period on a wrist shot in the middle of traffic. A pass by Jussi Jokinen got to Jagr for the milestone goal.

As the clock wound down, fans tossed rubber rats on the ice to celebrate Jagr’s new place in history. Ahead of Jagr on the all-time list are Gordie Howe with 801 goals and Wayne Gretzky with 894.
The Panthers went on to defeat the Jets 3–1.
