The 2016 NCAA men’s hockey tournament begins on Friday, with the championship game scheduled for April 9 at Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay.
The Providence Friars will aim to defend their title, while Quinnipiac comes in as the top seed in the tournament.
Boston College’s coach Jerry York called the tournament “wide open” with no clear favorite emerging from the 16 teams.

How to watch
TV coverage: Most early round games will be aired on ESPNU, ESPN2 and ESPN3. The Frozen Four will be aired on ESPN2. The championship game will be aired on ESPN.
