Flyers’ Brayden Schenn suspended for first three games of next season
Philadelphia Flyers forward Brayden Schenn has been suspended three games for his hit on the Capitals’ T.J. Oshie, the league announced Tuesday.
Schenn will miss the first three games of next season, as the Flyers have been eliminated from the playoffs.
Schenn was suspended for charging at Oshie during the Flyers’ Game 6 loss on Sunday. Schenn approached Oshie from behind, and launched himself into Oshie’s head while the Capitals forward played the puck, earning him the suspension. Video shows Schenn leaving his feet and making contact with Oshie’s head with his forearm.
