St. Louis Blues now Vegas favorites to win Stanley Cup

You know the old saying: If you want to be the champ, you have to beat the champ. Having done that, the St. Louis Blues are the new favorites to capture the Stanley Cup.

Online bookmaker Bovada.lv has installed the Blues at 13/4, the best odds of any of the eight teams remaining in the playoffs. St. Louis currently holds a 2-1 series lead over the Dallas Stars (13/2) after Tuesday's lopsided 6–1 win. Previously, they had knocked off the defending champion Chicago Blackhawks in seven games in the first round.

The Pittsburgh Penguins, who hold a 2-1 series lead over the Washington Capitals heading into Wednesday night's pivotal Game 4, are next at 10/3.
