SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) Florida Panthers goalie Roberto Luongo has left a game against the New York Islanders after appearing to injure his right leg.

Luongo stretched the leg out to block a shot by Ryan Pulock in the second period. He had to be helped off the ice and wasn't able to put any weight on the leg. He was replaced by James Reimer.

"He's hobbling a bit, lower-body," coach Bob Boughner said. "He's going to be looked at tomorrow by our doctors and get an MRI and see what happens. Right now, he's going to be evaluated a little more tomorrow."

Luongo missed six games earlier this season with a hand injury. The two-time All-Star won his 200th game for Florida on Nov. 27 at New Jersey.
