NHL Hall of Famer Henri Richard died early Friday morning at the age of 84. The Montreal native spent his entire 20-year NHL career with the Montreal Canadiens, and in that time, Richard would become a legend. In just his rookie season, he recorded 19 goals, 40 points and won his first Stanley Cup. He would go on to win 10 more titles during illustrious career. Richard was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1979 and the Quebec Sports Hall of Fame in 1991 and was named one of the Montreal Canadiens Ambassadors in the late twentieth century. Many fans will remember “Pocket Rocket” for his tenacity, determination, bravery and, above all else, his perseverance.
