An autographed Connor McDavid Rookie card has sold for over $130K at auction. McDavid signed rookie card was one of only 99 printed… This card was 97 of 99, which also happens to be McDavid’s Jersey number with the Oilers. 

The number made a card that would usually sell for roughly $50,000 much more valuable. A retired carpenter from San Diego held the winning bid. McDavid was the No. 1 overall pick by the Oilers in 2015 has gone on to be a three-time All-Star and won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL MVP for the 2016-17 season.
