Three-time Olympic gold medalist gymnast Aly Raisman will be joining ESPN as a college gymnastics analyst this season, the network announced on Thursday.

Raisman, who competed in the 2012 London Olympics and the 2016 Rio Olympics, will make her broadcasting debut on Friday, Jan. 19 for the No. 6 Kentucky vs. No. 8 LSU meet on SEC Network.

Raisman will be joined by three-time Olympic gymnast John Roethlisberger on the call for ESPN’s coverage on Friday night.

“I’m excited to be part of the ESPN gymnastics team and share my passion and love for the sport in a new way,” Raisman said, via an ESPN press release. “It’s been so fun to watch these incredible athletes and see how much gymnastics continues to grow. I’m looking forward to this next chapter and the opportunity to try something different within the sport.”

The 29-year-old told PEOPLE that she is also “nervous” for the opportunity because she wants to do a “good job” in this “really cool new chapter” in her life.

Raisman was notably the captain of Team USA’s “Fierce Five” group, which included Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Wieber.
