After withdrawing from most of her events at the 2020 Toyko Games, gymnast Simone Biles plans to make her Olympic return in Paris later this summer.

And now, fans will have a chance to get an up-close look at Biles's process to get back to the biggest stage in gymnastics.

Netflix is releasing a four-episode documentary called Simone Biles: Rising that will give a behind-the-scenes look at the gymnast's journey to Paris. The first episode is expected to be released in July ahead of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, which are set to begin July 26.

The documentary on Biles is one of three new sports series that the streaming platform will release around the Olympics. The other two will follow the United States men's basketball team and center around track & field athletes.

Biles made her Olympic debut at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro and won four gold medals and one bronze medal. In Tokyo in 2021, the gymnast removed herself from the team final and withdrew from the individual all-around competition to focus on her mental well-being.
