This past week, the LSU Lady Tigers superstar dropped the video for her Lil Wayne-assisted rap track “Came Out a Beast,” which garnered over 1 million views in three days. While Flau’jae’s EP was just released this past summer, she already has an idea of how she wants her new music to sound.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, Flau’jae shared that she’d be down to cut a rap and R&B collab in the future. She listed some of her dream collaborators, which include some big-name vocalists.
"My favorite artist of all time that sings is Adele,” said Flau’jae. “I love Adele. I don't know if you would consider that R&B, but I love Adele, Alicia Keys. I like 6lack from Atlanta. He's cold.”
Flau’jae already has several star-studded collabs under her belt, including tracks with Bia, Wyclef Jean, and Pusha T. So it’s looking like her music will only continue to evolve.
Elsewhere in the interview, Flau’jae clarified that music isn’t simply a hobby for her, or something she does on the side. She takes hip-hop just as seriously as she takes basketball.

“I'm trying to perform arenas,” Flau’jae said. “I'm trying to tour. I'm trying to be a real established artist. I want to win a Grammy."
As Flau’Jae’s video continues to climb the YouTube charts, a Grammy just might not be far out of the way.
