Caitlin Clark's sweet tribute to boyfriend Connor McCaffery after Rookie of the Year win

After being named the WNBA’s Rookie of the Year, Indiana Fever phenom Caitlin Clark shared a sweet shoutout to her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery on her Instagram story.

On Thursday, October 3, 22-year-old Clark shared a picture of her and McCaffery, 26, hugging on last year’s draft day. “I’m lucky,” she wrote in the caption.

McCaffery and Clark met at University of Iowa, where they both played basketball. The couple have never been shy about sharing their affection on social media. On April 24, the couple's one year anniversary, the Butler University assistant coach shared an affectionate post honoring his ball-playing girlfriend, which featured both a cute black and white photo and a close-up video of Clark rolling her eyes on the court.

“One year w the best 🫶🏼 doing life w u has been easy, and you never cease to amaze me.. can’t wait to watch u live out ur dreams in person 🤞🏼 love you ❤️” he wrote.

The Indiana guard posted a similarly glowing Instagram shout-out in July for her boyfriend’s birthday.

In the comments on the post, McCaffery joked: "I’ll keep letting you win those shooting contests!!!!!"
