Owen Franks is a retired New Zealand rugby union player, renowned for his role as a tighthead prop for the All Blacks. Born on December 23, 1987, in Motueka, New Zealand, Franks earned a reputation for his physicality, technical skill in the scrum, and relentless work ethic. He made his international debut for the All Blacks in 2009 and went on to become a crucial part of the team, winning two Rugby World Cup titles in 2011 and 2015. Over his distinguished career, Franks earned over 100 caps for New Zealand and was known for his durability and consistency. After his international career, he played for the Crusaders in Super Rugby and later moved to overseas clubs.
