FedEx St. Jude Championship PGA DFS Fantasy Golf Sleepers Featuring Ryan Fox & Rickie Fowler
The FedEx Cup Playoffs begin with the Top 70 players (69 this week because of a Daniel Berger back injury) from the 2026 Fedex Cup Rankings going this week for the Fedex St. Jude Championship held at TPC Southwind in Memphis. TPC Southwind is a course that rewards great iron-play and is much more about the approach shot than the result off the tee.
The next three events will be no-cut events as the 70 players this week will battle to make or stay in the Top 50 to qualify for next week’s tournament before trimming down to 30 players for the Tour Championship. Having no cut gives some of the field’s streakier players who can go super low the ability to bounce back from a slower start. Here are some of the sleepers that are priced lower that I’m eyeing this week…

J.J. Spaun (DK $7,800) (FD $9,400)
J.J Spaun’s game has been “meh” at best of recent, but he has proven he can make noise at big tournaments with great fields. The 2025 U.S Open winner had one of his best Tour finishes in this event last season, losing in a playoff to Justin Rose. Spaun’s been one of the best ball-strikers on Tour this season ranking fifth in Strokes Gained: Approach. This course suits him well and he’s proven he can hang with the best of them here.
Tom Kim (DK $7,900) (FD $9,700)
Tom Kim has been trending all season yet his price in DFS games still doesn’t give him a ton of credit for his great play. Granted this is a super-competitive field. Kim has proven that he belongs in these type of events. He finished T3 at the US Open, won the Scottish Open, and is coming off of a T5 last week at the Wyndham Championship. Also, ranked right behind JJ Spaun as the sixth best approach player on Tour is Mr. Tom Kim.
Rickie Fowler (DK $7,500) (FD $8,600)
Fowler is starting to find his form again after a midseason lull that included three straight missed cuts. He’s now finished inside the Top 20 in each of his last three starts, including a T8 at the Rocket Classic. Fowler also came up big when he needed to at this course last season, finishing T6. That performance helped him earn one more week and move into 48th position in the FedEx Cup standings, putting him in position to qualify for the BMW Championship.
Fowler made the most of that opportunity, finishing T7 at the BMW and narrowly missing out on the Tour Championship in 32nd place. He tends to play his best when there’s something on the line, and there’s plenty at stake again this week. Fowler currently sits 28th in the FedEx Cup standings, and you know he’d love another shot at the Tour Championship after coming so close last season.
Jake Knapp (DK $7,000) (FD $8,800)
This is a risky wild-card pick, but Knapp has shown enough upside to warrant a look. He was excellent during the first half of the season, finishing 11th or better in seven of eight tournaments, including a T11 at the Masters. The results haven't been nearly as consistent since then, but his last two starts offered some reason for optimism. Knapp finished T13 at the 3M Open, closing with a Sunday 62, before missing the cut at the Rocket Classic by just one shot.
Even in that missed cut, he made two eagles and seven birdies over two rounds. That's the appeal with Knapp. When he gets rolling, he can pile up birdies as quickly as almost anyone on Tour. He's already shot a 59 and has posted several other rounds of 61 or 62 that show just how much firepower he has. With no cut this week and some signs of life in his recent form, Knapp is a high-upside option worth considering.
Ryan Fox (DK $6,800) (FD $8,300)
Speaking of momentum: Ryan Fox, Open Champion, makes his first start since winning the Claret Jug at Royal Birkdale. Sometimes, a big win is all it takes to turn a very good player into a great one, and Fox certainly didn't look rattled down the stretch. He'll still need to play solid golf to maintain his spot inside the top 30—he currently sits 22nd in the FedEx Cup standings—but the hangover is over. Fox is ready to help your lineup, and he'll do it in eight seconds or less.
