After 15 seasons of competing in the NASCAR Cup Series, championship-winning organization Stewart-Haas Racing has closed its doors, making way for a brand-new team, Haas Factory Team, owned solely by Gene Haas.

Acquiring one of the four available charters from Stewart-Haas Racing, Haas Factory Team will field the No. 41 Ford Mustang Dark Horse full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2025. Cole Custer, the 2023 champion of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, will pilot the entry.

RFK Racing is set to provide HFT with a technical alliance in its first season as a NASCAR Cup Series organization. Aaron Kramer, who worked with RFK Racing on the No. 17 Ford Mustang Dark Horse last season, will join Haas Factory Team as the crew chief of the No. 41.

In an off-season interview, Kramer says that the Haas Factory Team No. 41 will be operating as a “pseudo fourth [RFK Racing} car” in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2025.

Haas Factory Team is also set to field a pair of NASCAR Xfinity Series entries in 2025, with Sheldon Creed (No. 00) and Sam Mayer (No. 41) running for the series’ championship.
