Aston Martin is set to unveil its new flagship supercar in the coming weeks with the tagline "All will be Vanquished," after the British brand recently teased the introduction of a twin-turbocharged V12 engine, suggesting a powerful comeback for the Vanquish nameplate. The previous Vanquish, which set a high benchmark for Aston Martin, was introduced in 2001 and remained a standout model until its discontinuation in 2018.

The V12 engine generates an impressive 824 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, with a reported top speed of 214 mph. The robust cylinder block is engineered to support redesigned cylinder heads, featuring reprofiled camshafts and new intake and exhaust ports, along with other enhancements.

Fortunately, as reported by CarThrottle.com, Aston Martin has been listening to what its customers want, considering its analysis that suggests its buyers look for cars to buy with big engines and more power, and it has been offering them just that. Thus, the upcoming grand tourer could serve as a base model for extreme versions of the Vanquish in the future.

On its official website, the brand has set up a form for interested buyers to fill out, as well as an engine start-stop button that takes one through a short teaser of the unique powerhouse laden with beautiful mechanical details when clicked upon. The main highlight of the video is the engine note of the new car, which a petrolhead might find to be a 'consciousness elevating' experience when heard using earphones or on a high-quality surround sound system.

The CarSpyMedia YouTube video reveals the new Vanquish undergoing testing at the Nurburgring, with the roar of its V12 engine resonating through the green landscape. The car features a sleek design, while the original grille remains well-camouflaged. As per TheSupercarBlog.com, the production version will sport the largest grille ever fitted on an Aston Martin and distinctive square quad exhausts at the rear.

According to Aston Martin Chief Technical Officer Roberto Fedeli, this powerful powerplant will set a new standard for the brand. As reported by Motor1.com, he said:

"The V-12 engine has long been a symbol of power and prestige, but it is also a statement of engineering passion and technical prowess.

"With 824 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque, this unparalleled engine represents nothing less than the dawn of a dazzling new V-12 era for Aston Martin."

There are currently no reports of the expected price of the car that is yet to be launched, however, it is expected that the value of this prestigious Aston Martin would be a six-figure sum, maybe somewhere around the $423,000 mark that its Ferrari equivalent 12 Cilindri starts at in the USA.
