In addition to being the greatest rapper alive, Lil Wayne is also an avid sports fan. It may surprise some, but the legendary rapper knows a lot about tennis.

Lil Wayne has previously joined the tennis discourse, including in a letter to Sports Illustrated in 2010. Today, the "Young Money Millionaire" is back in the tennis conversation thanks to Jelena Ostapenko.

The Latvian tennis player attended a Drake's March concert with Lil Wayne in Miami. Ostapenko was asked about this during an interview on the Tennis Channel, and she made it clear that Lil Wayne was the better performer.

The interview caught Lil Wayne's attention, and he posted a snippet of the video to his Instagram story. He said, "Thanks for da luv @jelena.ostapenko."

Ostapenko's full quote was, "I think it was nice. But, honestly, the part of the concert where it was Lil Wayne, I liked way better... I felt like the music was so nice. When it was Drake, I was just standing and not dancing much."

She continued, "When Lil Wayne came out, I was dancing to every single song, even if I didn't know them. After the concert, I started to listen to a lot of Lil Wayne songs."

Ostapenko really is just like the rest of us. Even better, it gets Lil Wayne back in the tennis conversation. Tennis fans can follow Sports Illustrated's Serve on SI for all the most important news from the sport.
