Matthew McConaughey Shouts Out Tommy Paul & Girlfriend

Matthew McConaughey gave a shout-out to Tommy Paul and his girlfriend after the 2024 Queen's Club Championships.

Sunday was a day that Tommy Paul would never forget. The 27-year-old American tennis player defeated Italy's Lorenzo Musetti in the Queen's Club Championships (also known as the cinch Championships).

The victory was Paul's third career crown, placing him above Taylor Fritz in the ATP rankings and making him the highest-ranked American in men's singles.

After Paul was awarded the trophy, he posed with his girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, for pictures. Naturally, social media users turned the heartwarming moment into an opportunity to make mean-spirited comments about the couple.

However, one social media user shouted out the couple. Legendary actor and king of positive vibes, Matthew McConaughey, took to social media to applaud Paul for his major accomplishment.

McConaughey quoted an ESPN social media post showing Paul and Lorenze on X (formerly known as twitter). McConaughey kept it short and simple, "THIS is @TommyPaul1."

Alright, alright, alright. Who knew McConaughey was watching tennis on Sunday morning? Either way, we love to see an A-list actor and humanitarian lending some much-needed positive vibes to social media.
