Rafael Nadal is currently playing in the Swedish Open to prepare for the clay courts at Roland Garros in the 2024 Summer Olympics. But it is never too early to think about the US Open.

Earlier today, the registration list for the 2024 US Open was announced. Much to the delight of tennis fans all over the world, the 22-time Grand Slam Champion's name is on the list.

Nadal is on the entry list of the US Open, with protected ranking. The 38-year-old has won the US Open four times, most recently in 2019. Nadal has not played in the tournament since 2022, where he lost to Frances Tiafoe in the fourth round.

The US Open runs from August 26-September 8 and is played in New York City on hard courts.

Fans not wanting to wait to watch Nadal play in the Paris Olympics or US Open, can catch him competing this week in Bastard. He is scheduled to face Cameron Norrie in the round of 16 on Thursday, July 18.
