On Friday morning, Wimbledon announced the draws for this year's tournament. While there were some highlights, many fans are not happy with the way the bracket has shaped up.

Nevertheless, it will lead to some must-see matchups between top-ranked players before the finals. Like everything in the sport, the draws are a zero-sum game. Below are the three worst draws of Wimbledon 2024.

Iga Swiatek

World No. 1 Iga Swiatek has a tougher-than-expected path to the finals this year. Swiatek faces 2020 Australian Open champion Sofia Kenin in the first round.

Looking ahead to the fourth and fifth rounds, Swiatek could face Jelena Ostapenko, followed by Marketa Vondrousova. The semifinals could be a match against Jessica Pegula or Ons Jabeur.

Lastly, Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka are on the opposite side of the bracket. It will be a tough road for Swiatek to advance past the quarterfinals of Wimbledon (her previous best performance in 2023).

Jannik Sinner

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner has his work cut out for him at Wimbledon. After starting with Yannick Hanfmann and the winner of Matteo Berrettini and Marton Fucsovics, Sinner could face Tallon Griekspoor in the third round.

From there, Sinner could easily run the gauntlet of Ben Shelton, Daniil Medvedev, and Carlos Alcaraz. If Sinner can get through all of those players, he would likely face Novak Djokovic or Alexander Zverev in the finals.

Carlos Alcaraz

Carlos Alcaraz is the reigning champ at Wimbledon and the French Open, but that does not mean anything for the World No. 2 this year. He starts against Mark Lajal, followed by the winner of Aleksandar Vukic and Sebastian Ofner.

As early as the third round, Alcaraz could face Frances Tiafoe. If Alcaraz makes it to the quarterfinals, he could play against Ugo Humbert or Sebastian Baez. Then we get the highly anticipated matchup against Sinner, followed by possibly Djokovic or Zverev in the finals.

Wimbledon starts on July 1, which is less than a week away. Tennis fans can follow Sports Illustrated's Serve on SI for all the most important news from the sport.
