Taylor Fritz is known for his laid-back California attitude. And despite him being in the midst of his best Wimbledon run ever, the World No. 12 player cannot escape the drama in London.

First, it was a beef with Arthur Rinderknech, which Fritz did not ask for. Then, after defeating Alexander Zverev in the fourth round, he received an earful from his opponent at the net.

Zverev told the media, "I think there's some other people that maybe are in his box that are not maybe from the tennis world, that are not maybe from particularly watching every single match. They were a bit over the top."

Fritz explained in a Tennis Channel interview that Zverev politely expressed his grievances with people in his cheering section. However, the issue has spilled onto social media.

Shortly after his upset win over Zverev, Fritz's girlfriend took to social media in a series of deleted posts. Morgan Riddle, a social media influencer, took thinly veiled shots at Zverev's domestic assault allegations.

Riddle posted a picture of Centre Court captioned "cheer loud ladies," before later dancing in a video, captioned with prayer, painting nails, and heart emojis and the message "when ur man wins 4 the girls."

Last month, Zverev settled the domestic abuse case after reaching an out-of-court settlement with his former partner. Per the German court's decision, Zverev agreed to pay fines of approximately $162,000 to the state and about $54,000 to charity.

On Tuesday morning, Riddle used her Instagram story to explain why she deleted the posts. "Regarding my stories yesterday... I took them down as I realized the misunderstanding and how blown out of proportion they had become by the media. They were not about anything that's happened off the tennis court & there's no bad blood between anyone."

Riddle concluded, "Super proud of T [Taylor] for the match yesterday, thank you to the crowd for the support & looking forward to tomorrow."

While Zverev and Riddle never directly mentioned each other, it is pretty easy to connect the dots in this drama. Fritz will face Lorenzo Musetti in the Wimbledon quarterfinals on Wednesday, July 10.
