Few tennis players enjoy a higher approval rating than Carlos Alcaraz. The 21-year-old is the face of the sport, and Nike is building around him as well.

However, England is a soccer-crazed country, and nothing can come between a nation and its favorite pastime. On Sunday afternoon, England plays Spain in the EURO 2024 Championship. It will easily be the soccer match of the year for fans all over the world.

On Friday afternoon, Alcaraz defeated Daniil Medvedev in the Wimbledon Semifinals in four sets: 6-7(1), 6-3, 6-4, 6-4. Afterward, Alcaraz shared a lighthearted moment with the crowd at Centre Court.

Alcaraz said Sunday would "be a good day for Spanish people as well." He was met with boos from the fans. Alcaraz quickly added, "I didnโ€™t say Spain is going to win. Iโ€™m just saying itโ€™s going to be a really fun day."

Alcaraz faces the winner of Lorenzo Musetti and Novak Djokovic on Sunday. It could easily be a rematch of last year's finals between Alcaraza and Djokovic.
