Nick Kygrios has the talent to be a top tennis player or one of the best television personalities in sports. ESPN has hired Kyrgios for the third straight Grand Slam to provide his hot takes and strong rapport with players.

On Tuesday night, Carlos Alcaraz defeated Li Tu in four sets in the first round of the US Open: 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1. But Alcaraz's strong performance did not save him from Kyrgios's jokes during their post-match interview.

Kygrios asked, "I love when you wear singles out on court here. Did you design this yourself? Because your arms are looking sensational?"

Alcaraz laughed off the question, "I love playing in singlets as well." Kyrgios quickly chimed in, "I know you do."

Before Alcaraz concluded with a joke, "In some tournaments, I want to play with sleeveless shirts probably to put fear into the opponents."

Alcaraz is not wrong for wearing sleeveless shirts, as funs were buzzing about his US Open kit on social media. Additionally, Kyrgios enjoyed rave reviews for his outfit on the court.

Kyrgios wore a hoodie featuring the faces of Kobe Bryant and Nipsey Hussle with black Jordan Brand pants and white Air Jordan 1 Low sneakers.

Kyrgios may have had the most stylish outfit, but Alcaraz had the cooler ensemble for the muggy New York City weather.

Alcaraz will face Botic van de Zandschulp in the second round of the US Open on Thursday. Hopefully, we get another fashion-forward outfit from the World No. 2 tennis player. Tennis fans can follow Sports Illustrated's Serve on SI for all the most important news from the sport.
