Stefanos Tsitsipas Shares Secrets of His Hair Care Routine
A distinctive hairstyle, often as important as a player's swagger and a strong forehand, is a notable feature in the world of tennis. The ATP Tour is full of men's and women's players with unique hair, and perhaps none more than Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The 25-year-old Greek player is known for long, flowing locks of blonde hair. Just as it is nearly impossible to be 6'4" and an elite athlete, it is equally challenging to attain Tsitsipas' hairstyle.
Luckily for fans, the World No. 11 player recently opened up on social media about his trademark style. In an interview with the Tennis Channel, Tsitsipas shared his secrets for maintaining his signature style.
In the 15-second video, Tsitsipas can be seen riding in the back of a golf cart in his adidas warmups. He looks down at a tablet and reads the question everyone is asking, "What is your hair care routine?"
Tsitsipas took the question seriously, saying, "Well, basic stuff. Shower, shampoo, and conditioner. I do conditioner five times a week, which is way too much, and it's not recommended. But that's how I take care of my hair."
We love to pick up knowledge from tennis greats, even if it is just about their personal style. Tsitsipas will play both singles and men's doubles at this year's Wimbledon.
Last year, he advanced to the fourth round of the iconic grass court Grand Slam, which was his best performance at the All England Club.
Wimbledon starts on July 1, which is less than a week away. Tennis fans can follow Sports Illustrated's Serve on SI for all the most important news from the sport.
