Tottenham & Liverpool Target Bundesliga Defender As Real Madrid Track Pedro Porro & Trent Alexander-Arnold
According to a report, Tottenham and Liverpool are amongst the clubs tracking a defender from the Bundesliga in case Pedro Porro or Trent Alexander-Arnold move to Real Madrid next summer.
Los Blancos continue to be linked with a move for Alexander-Arnold, who is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave on a free transfer, with one report claiming they have made contact with the Anfield hierarchy to discuss the potential transfer.
It appears, however, that Liverpool are doing all they can to try and get him to extend his stay at his boyhood club, and should they be successful, it could see the reigning European champions focus on a move for Tottenham's Porro instead.
Caught Offside are reporting that sources have told them that there is 'concrete interest' from the North London club in RB Leipzig defender Lutsharel Geertruida, who only moved to his new club from Feyenoord at the start of this season.
With a contract until 2029 in Germany, however, the outlet also suggests that despite the player being keen on a move to the Premier League, it would likely take an offer of €40-45million to get Leipzig to the negotiating table.
The report also states that Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Borussia Dortmund and Lyon have an interest in the Dutch international, meaning that the Spurs hierarchy may not have it all their own way should they decide to make a move for the right-back.
