Kiki Iriafen Wows Basketball Fans in USC Dunk Footage
Kiki Iriafen has USC basketball fans hyped by taking flight. The grad transfer from Stanford showed off her leaping ability in a video posted by the Trojans social media team.
Iriafen can clearly dunk the ball with ease and USC looks poised for a huge season due to her addition, as she will now be paired with JuJu Watkins. Watkins of course broke the NCAA freshman scoring record in her first year with the team.
Iriafen was named the best power forward in the nation a year ago after averaging 19.4 points and 11 rebounds at Stanford. She also won the Pac-12 Most Improved Player of the Year award in her junior season. Kiki, who stands 6-foot-3 is considered a top pro prospect and could compete with the likes of Paige Bueckers for the number one overall spot in the 2025 WNBA Draft.
USC head coach Lindsay Gottlieb had previously said this about Iriafen joining the program. "Kiki is a next-level talent. An established star in women's college basketball already, she comes to USC looking to help us win at the highest level and to continue to expand her capabilities. She's a dynamic scorer and rebounder who will flourish in our style and with those around her. She is a magnetic personality who gets to come home and be special." The Los Angeles native joins a team fresh off its first Elite-Eight run since 1994.
Adding her to the squad with JuJu has expectations for the Trojans going up, like Kiki was in the video above.
