The Indiana Fever improved to 15-16 on the WNBA regular season on Wednesday night after defeating the Connecticut Sun 84-80.

It was an all-around excellent team effort from Indiana that saw all five Fever starters score in double-digits. Kelsey Mitchell led the way with 23 points while rookie sensation Caitlin Clark added 19, Lexie Hull had 17, and both post players Aliyah Boston and NaLyssa Smith scored 10 points apiece.

While securing this big win against an elite Connecticut team was surely exciting, it could not compare to what happened for the Fever afterward.

Team USA Paris Olympians Simone Biles and Gabby Thomas were at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday to watch the Fever play in person.

The two Olympic icons then went into Indiana's locker room after the game to meet with the team.

A video from the Fever's X account showed Clark seeming starstruck when meeting Biles and Thomas before posing for a picture with them.

After Clark, numerous Indiana players posed for photos alongside the gold medalists; many of whom were squealing in excitement.

For anybody who may be unaware, Gabby Thomas is an American sprinter who won three gold medals (individually in the 200 m, the 4x100 m relay, and the 4x400 m relay) at the Paris Olympics earlier this month.

And Simone Biles is a seven-time Olympic gold medalist who won three gold medals of her own (along with a silver) in Paris.

Biles is considered the GOAT of women's gymnastics. And she seems to condone Clark already being called the GOAT of women's basketball, as she was seen liking an X post from Molly McGrath that wrote, "the goat @Simone_Biles watching the other goat @CaitlinClark22".

While Paris was likely Biles' last Olympics, perhaps Clark will win a gold medal in her honor during the 2028 games in Los Angeles.
